Synopsis

Iravati and Narayan Lavate, 79 and 88, wrote to the President of India in December 2017 asking for active euthanasia. They feel that living past 75 is unnecessary and together despise the idea of being dependent on others. They would like to die together so that one of them is not left behind to grieve. Retired and without any children, they want to bequeath their property to the state and their bodies to medical science.
