Synopsis

Exploring nomadic life in the 21st century, free from all fetters of civilisation.

Mithulala belongs to the Mir nomadic tribe that follows an ambiguous faith, being both Hindu and Muslim. The film explores the meaning of nomadism in the present era, in the process questioning the very notion of civilisation.

 

ABOUT DIRECTOR

A Communication Design graduate from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai, Pramati Anand’s creative journey is in exploring stories, people and places through travel and audio-visual media. She is pursuing Filmmaking at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.
