ARE YOU GOING TO SCHOOL TODAY?*

Directed by ANUPAMA SRINIVASAN | 59' | India

Hello

Synopsis

A 10 year-old girl, Anjali, living in a Rajasthani village, likes school and dreams of joining a hostel in a distant town the coming year. The film takes us to rural government schools in the tribal district of Dungarpur, where we see children attend class with limited learning material, absentee fathers and younger siblings to look after. Even as the camera observes the efforts of the teachers, it explores the fragile relationship of children with schools.
