Each year the Ramanujan School of Mathematics in Patna selects 30 teenagers and prepares them to compete for the Indian Institute of Technology. They come from low-caste backgrounds, they have a talent for mathematics. The film follows the most recent Super 30, from their initial selection in September 2006 to the moment when they receive their IIT results in May 2007.
