Directed by BENJAMIN BEST | 17' | Germany

Hello

Synopsis

In May 2019, journalist and filmmaker Benjamin Best travelled undercover to Qatar and filmed with hidden cameras the massive exploitation of migrant workers from Nepal at FIFA World Cup construction sites. While FIFA had for the first time admitted violations of worker standards, Best found and filmed 125 Nepali workers who had not received any salary for up to eight months, had their passports illegally confiscated, and were only given bread and water to eat. Their accommodations were in a terrible state.
